The History

The weaving mill Kitzmüller is located in Guglwald, in the beautiful Mühlviertel. Here the Kitzmüller family has been weaving fabrics from pure fibres since 1928. At that time, the flax was processed in the fields by the farmers in the winter months into linen. Even today, the textiles are produced entirely in the weaving mill. The weaving mill relies on diversity and on the combination of old traditions with today’s textile aesthetics.

The company Kitzmüller produces home textiles such as table linen, bed linen, carpets and kitchen linen. Especially in the area of kitchen linen, the Erich Kitzmüller weaving mill specializes in dish towels. The Mühlviertler weaving mill also produces special products in small quantities.
